Plant-Based Nutrition Course Description

Overall health and risk of degenerative disease are inextricably linked to dietary practice. This innovative, online certificate program introduces a new way of thinking about nutrition and explores the benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet, based on the research and teachings of Dr. T. Colin Campbell and a variety of other experts in the field.

Plant-based nutrition topics include:

There are 17 information packed lectures, along with online discussion forums and no-pressure quizzes. You’ll cover the material in three 2 week courses, with an estimated time commitment of about 6 hours per week required to explore the material. You will be participating in discussion boards that are moderated by trained instructors, where students and the instructors dive into the the course work together, posting questions, clarifying answers, and gaining a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the material. All of our courses are self-paced and can be accessed 24/7 for your convenience.
