Juan Diego

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Mr Calisto studied Economics in the UNALM in Lima. 17 years ago he founded the NGO Ruwasunchis (https://ruwasunchis.org/) that focuses on improving the quality of life and providing opportunities to kids, youth and women in vulnerable communities from Peru. Ruwasunchis focuses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and wellbeing enhancement in the people served. He is also Ashoka Fellow, co-founder of Pru Plant Based, Globalshaper Alumni of the World Economic Forum. On 2020 he did a TED Talk about Ruwasunchis work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsjrt328qjo&t=109s He is currently the CEO and founder of Ruwalab Coaching & Wellness Institute, where he develops innovation, coaching and wellness courses, workshops and experiences for the cooperative, public and non-profit sectors.
