Anthony Martinez
Anthony came to Puerto Rico in 2019 to work as a volunteer for Chilis on Wheels Puerto Rico but after losing funding for the project he decided along with the help of donations to take on the project himself. Today Casa Vegana de la Comunidad is thriving virtually doing vegan education while we carefully plan the next phase which is to build a plant based community center. Favorite pastimes are visiting farms and collaborating with local activists to help promote veganism on the island. He is a graduate of the CNS and eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate program. Selena Nadal
Selena works as a simultaneous interpreter whose main areas of work include non-profit organizations and domestic violence victims in the Puerto Rico justice system. She is a political radio analyst, vegan soap maker, and serves as the Communications Director of Casa Vegana de la Comunidad. Her passions include diving, traveling, yoga and learning as much as she can about any topic that comes her way. She is a graduate of the CNS and eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate program.
