Nancy Kadenyi is passionate about reforestation, agroforestry, farmer-managed natural regeneration, water management, climate smart agriculture, community environmental education, and participatory research. Kadenyi holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental conservation and natural resource management, and she is an alumna of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI). She was recognized by USAID East Africa in 2018 as one of the YALI alumni fighting climate change and helping farmers improve their farm productivity in the community. Bonvenuture Makhaya is the Project Manager and Co-Founder of Protech EcoGreen. He holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology, and he is knowledgeable about forecasting, climate change, remote sensing, and GIS. He has experience and interest in formulating climate change policies, community engagement, weather forecasting, climate smart agriculture, using meteorological data to improve farming practices, and impact assessments. He participates in environmental forums to push for clean energy and sustainable living.
