This book gives me the answer I've been seeking--biochemical basis for plant-based nutrients over animal products. I agree that only 'holistic' answer is achievable, although as an engineer trained in scientific methods, it takes a leap of faith.
As an immigrant citizen in America, I'm quite disappointed at the medical-pharmaceutical industries' influence over everyone's health and food supply. The focus is on controlling the symptom, rather than on a cure! This will take a revolution to correct.
