Gary L. Thomas

Gary was born on April 1st 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated high school in 1961. He had an early interest in amateur radio and qualified for his license at the age of 14—call sign K0MGD. Gary earned his commercial pilot’s license at 18 and continued in the field of aviation as a flight instructor and aerial applicator, then went to work as an airline pilot for TWA 1965. He later served in the US Navy as radio operator on a C118 air transport and visited Vietnam for short time in 1967. He married in 1968. He has enjoyed traveling far and wide, visiting Hawaii, Vietnam, Japan, New Zealand, and Guatemala. He is a graduate of the CNS & eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate program. Thanks to the health and vitality bestowed by the whole food, plant-based diet, Gary looks forward to many more adventures in the years to come!
