Jazmín García is a radiation oncologist originally from the Dominican Republic. She studied general medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. She was awarded a scholarship by the Organismo Internacional de Energía Atómica (International Atomic Energy Agency) for her postgraduate studies, receiving a degree in radiation oncology at the Arturo López Pérez Foundation in Santiago, Chile. Jazmín has 8 years of clinical experience in cancer treatment. She performs external radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and radiosurgery for brain tumors. She loves to cook, go cycling, and is a yoga enthusiast. It is through the latter that she was motivated to adopt a plant-based diet, understanding the importance and link between lifestyle and good health. For Jazmín, coherence is a vital part of life.
