Dr. Pablo Olavegogeascoechea, originally from Cipolletti, Argentina, moved to Buenos Aires to study at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). After earning his degree, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the JM Ramos Mejía Hospital and later at the VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas, USA.
He has practiced internal medicine at various centers in Argentina and obtained a master's degree in clinical research. He has also participated in, led, and published two books and more than 40 clinical studies. He is currently a professor of pathophysiology at the National University of Comahue and research methodology at the Interamerican Open University.
His professional career has been focused on chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, vascular disease, and metabolic syndrome. Additionally, he holds a diploma in lifestyle medicine and is dedicated to the study of the microbiota and dysbiosis.
