Dr. Victoria Collazo, a licensed pharmacist, brings a wealth of clinical experience gained in diverse pharmacy environments. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Motivated by a deep desire to empower individuals in their journey to better health, she began her career in retail pharmacy, enjoying meaningful conversations with those on their path to wellness. Questioning the conventional approach to medicine and successfully reversing her own high cholesterol in her mid-thirties through lifestyle changes, Dr. Collazo's commitment to education and professional development led her to earn certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. She later achieved board certification in Lifestyle Medicine from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, further expanding her expertise. In addition, she currently holds a position on the medical advisory board for the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and is a Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine Food for Life cooking and nutrition instructor.
She aspires to enlighten a wide audience on the practicalities of preventing, treating, and potentially reversing women's health chronic conditions through the application of lifestyle medicine. In addition, she takes great pleasure in collaboratively devising personalized strategies with individuals, enabling them to implement the essential behavioral changes that offer the best opportunity to minimize, or even eliminate, the need for prescription medications.
