Whole Communities is delighted to host scientist, Gerard Wedderburn-Bisshop, to speak on Wednesday, March 20, at 7:00 PM ET about the impact of animal agriculture on the environment. Until 2010, Mr. Bisshop was a Principal Scientist with the Queensland (Australia) Government Department of Environment and Resource Management where he led a team of scientists who used satellite imagery to monitor vegetation, deforestation, and ground cover giving him primary experience in rangeland agriculture especially cattle grazing. Mr. Bisshop is now engaged in communicating these issues including as the author of the environmental section of the book accompanying the documentary Eating Our Way to Extinction [https://eating2extinction.com/]. He is a co-founder and lead scientist of the World Preservation Foundation [https://worldpreservationfoundation.org/].
