Julie Johnson and her husband started eating a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) diet about seven years ago because of her husband’s health issues. This lifestyle has done wonders for them. She loves to garden, cook, walk, and read. Julie especially enjoys trying new WFPB recipes to share with family and friends. Her other passion is teaching children and soon-to-be teachers. After 30 years in elementary education, she transitioned to work at the local university in teacher education. Thanks to the support of the CNS Kitchen community, Julie is feeling strong and happy, and she knows that life will only continue to get better.
