Sakura Oyama is half Austrian, half Japanese, and grew up in the U.S. until she was a teenager before moving back to Europe, and returned later to University in Los Angeles. She has a BA in Interior Architecture but her true passion is cooking. She has taken several courses at PlantLab Culinary on plant-based nutrition and gourmet cooking.
