Amie Hamlin has been the executive director of the Coalition for Healthy School Food (CHSF) since its founding in 2004. Previously, she was the director of other non-profits that focused on the environment and tobacco control. CHSF was co-founded by Amie after she wrote a NYS legislative resolution for healthy plant-based entrees and nutrition education in schools, which passed unanimously in 2004. Amie has a master’s degree in education and She is a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate program.
