Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp Za’atar seasoning
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (optional)
  • ½ tsp kosher salt, or to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • 1. Place rinsed chickpeas in a medium bowl. Toss with lemon juice, Za’atar seasoning, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • 2. Place chickpeas in an air fryer basket and roast at 400 degrees F for 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  • 3. Carefully remove from air fryer, allow to cool, and enjoy. (These won’t stay crispy for a long time because we aren’t using any oil, so serve them shortly after preparation.)

Cooking Tips

  • 1. Alternatively, bake in the oven at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, preferably using the convection setting.
