Authentic Mexican Pico de Gallo Salsa
What You'll Need
5 - 6 Roma tomatoes, diced
¼ white onion, finely chopped
5 - 7 sprigs of cilantro, finely chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1 lime, juiced
1 - 4 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
1 Mix all the ingredients in a container.
2 Refrigerate and serve cold.
Adjust ingredients according to your taste.
You can use other types of tomatoes, just make sure they are not too ripe. You want them to be firm to the touch.
You can use other types of peppers or omit them completely.
