  • 4 cups fresh or frozen berries
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract


  • 1. In a medium saucepan, combine berries and orange juice and heat over medium-high heat.
  • 2. When the mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to medium-low and to cook for 10-15 minutes, occasionally mashing the berries and stirring to combine.
  • 3. Turn off the heat and add the chia seeds and vanilla extract. Allow the mixture to thicken and cool for 10-15 minutes.

  • 1. Serve over your favorite pancakes, waffles, oats, plant-based yogurt, or frozen banana nice cream.
