Oil-free Hummus Spread


  • 3 cups cooked chick peas (drained and rinsed)
  • 6 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 tsp garlic, minced
  • 3-4 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt/pepper to taste (optional)
  • Water as needed


  • 1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients to a creamy, smooth consistency.
  • 2. Add water if needed.
