Pressure Cooker Split Pea Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb dried split peas
  • 7 cups water
  • 1 ½ cups chopped carrots
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Spike salt-free seasoning
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 4-inch strip kombu seaweed (optional)
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • 1. Place all ingredients into your pressure cooker and cook on “bean” setting for 35 minutes, using the natural release method.
  • 2. When the machine cools enough to open the lid, simply stir and serve!
